From last April 2010, Salquisa turned into the second laboratory with ENAC certification in Castellon.

The said certification allows Salquisa´s laboratory to do residues analysis of pesticides in oranges and mandarins through methods based on liquid chromatography.

However, by November 2010 it is planned to increase the capacities of the laboratory in order to apply new methods of chromatography of gases and also increase the number of pesticides in both techniques.

Salquisa launches RED DEMON, a new and innovative product for the wood protection sector.
 
RED DEMON products have been developed to protect wood in both formats: liquid and direct use format. Those products are made of active materials such as insecticides and fungicides that along with the “vehicle” are carried to the interior of the wood and have an incredible and amazing capacity of retention and penetration.

RED DEMON products can be used in ALL TYPES of wood and against ALL TYPES of xylophagous organism. RED DEMON acts by means of contact or inhalation. It does not change the wood’s colour or texture and any type of finishing such as paint, varnish or lacquer can be used a few minutes later

The company, which already has an office in Shanghai and a production plant in Zibo, is planning in the near future to expand the company and open a new plant in the South of the country to improve its customer´s service and export to nearby countries.

The Enviromental Quality´s Chief of the Valencian Goverment, Mr. Francisco Segura Sobrino gave on Wednesday, 29th of April the Enviroment Authorisation (AAI) to Salquisa. This authorisation allows Salquisa the production of frits, glazes, colours and agrochemical products as it has been proven that they respect the Nature and Enviroment and follow what it is established by law.

After the meeting celebrated on the 25th of July 2008 SALQUISA has been accepted as a member of ANFFECC (National Association of Manufacturers of Frits, Glazes and Ceramic Colours).

This association is basically in charge of the regularisation of the social and environmental politics of the industry.

Salquisa collaborates once again with International Red Cross with funds to help injured people in the earthquake occurred in the southeast of China. To this effects, SALQUISA confirms and expands bonds already established with the European entity and channels through Red Cross most of their social contributions.
