Salquisa sponsors the only Spanish cyclist who will take part in the “Race Across the Alps” which will be held the 24th, 25th and 26th of June in Austria.

Hector Ibañez is the first an only Spanish cyclist who participates in this hard race which consists on cycling 525 kms, going through 13 passes and overcome unevenness of 13.650 m.

Only 50 competitors are allowed to participate in this race considered as the hardest one-day race around the world. The competitors, who are previously selected by the organisation, have maximum 32 hours to complete the race.

Like every year, Salquisa collaborates with the local festivities contributing to the magazine for May celebration (Mare de Déu del Bon Succés´festivities) and August celebration (Sant Joan and Sant Roc´s festivities).  We should give pecial mention to the cover page of August 2009 specially designed by Salquisa´s I+D department.

The world of culture came together on Wednesday, 21st of May at the Theatre in Castellón. The big date was the awards organised by radio station “Onda Cero”. These awards show the most human and committed side of the society of Castellón. Furthermore, this yearly event recognises people, groups and institutions whose work has an important impact in the progress, development and quality of life of the society of Castellón.

Once again, Salquisa collaborates with “Onda Cero” giving the Environment Award this year to the Council of Castellón for their service of bicycles lending, biciCAS.

SALQUISA shows once again its human side and its necessity to collaborate with society and improve quality of life of the area where they are located in Cabanes, Castellón.

Therefore they have contributed with Red Cross to buy an ambulance for the public health services in Cabanes. This endeavour was recognised by the Local Authorities on the 13th of April 2008 where an award was given to SALQUISA to thank for their collaboration.
