01/06/2010SALQUISA sponsors cyclist in the “Race Across the Alps
Zoom inSalquisa sponsors the only Spanish cyclist who will take part in the “Race Across the Alps” which will be held the 24th, 25th and 26th of June in Austria.
Hector Ibañez is the first an only Spanish cyclist who participates in this hard race which consists on cycling 525 kms, going through 13 passes and overcome unevenness of 13.650 m.
Only 50 competitors are allowed to participate in this race considered as the hardest one-day race around the world. The competitors, who are previously selected by the organisation, have maximum 32 hours to complete the race.

12/05/2010SALQUISA turns into the second laboratory with ENAC certification in Castellon
Zoom inFrom last April 2010, Salquisa turned into the second laboratory with ENAC certification in Castellon.
The said certification allows Salquisa´s laboratory to do residues analysis of pesticides in oranges and mandarins through methods based on liquid chromatography.
However, by November 2010 it is planned to increase the capacities of the laboratory in order to apply new methods of chromatography of gases and also increase the number of pesticides in both techniques.

Zoom inSalquisa launches Reddemon, a new and innovative product for the agrochemical industry.
RED DEMON products have been developed to protect wood in both formats: solid (direct use) and liquid. Those products are made of active materials such as insecticides and fungicides that along with the “vehicle” are carried to the interior of the wood and have an incredible and amazing capacity of retention and penetration.
RED DEMON products can be used in ALL TYPES of wood and against ALL TYPES of xylophagous organism. RED DEMON acts by means of contact or inhalation. It does not change the wood’s colour or texture and any type of finishing such as paint, varnish or lacquer can be used a few minutes later
23/07/2009Salquisa plans to open a new plant in China

The company, which already has an office in Shanghai and a production plant in Zibo, is planning in the near future to expand the company and open a new plant in the South of the country to improve its customer´s service and export to nearby countries.
Zoom inOn Tuesday the 14th of July 2009, the Chamber of Commerce of Castellon recognised Salquisa´s investments and efforts overseas and was given the Export Award 2008 being the only company of its sector receiving this award.
Zoom inThe local newspaper, “Periódico Mediterraneo” interviewed at the end of May Salquisa´s General Manager. (see attached copy of the interview on the newspaper).
The interview emphasises, above all, the contribution of the company to the chemical market with the production of material with added value and high technical development.
Furthermore, taking into account the situation of the market nowadays, Salquisa is one of the few companies which will survive to this difficult period and will come out stronger as a company.

29/04/2009Salquisa gets the AAI by the Valencian Goverment.
The Enviromental Quality´s Chief of the Valencian Goverment, Mr. Francisco Segura Sobrino gave on Wednesday, 29th of April the Enviroment Authorisation (AAI) to Salquisa. This authorisation allows Salquisa the production of frits, glazes, colours and agrochemical products as it has been proven that they respect the Nature and Enviroment and follow what it is established by law.
13/10/2008Finding the right balance in the use of pesticides
Zoom inAfter two years of political discussion, last June the EU agricultural ministers agreed on a proposal for the introduction of stricter rules on the use of pesticides in Europe. These rules include bans on products found to be carcinogenic or toxic to humans. All carcinogenic substances and others that could potentially cause genetic disturbances, damage to the immune system, or other health risks are to be banned from use in pesticides, as is being proposed in the European Commission’s pesticide package, which now also needs to be approved by the European Parliament.

Zoom inThe world of culture came together on Wednesday, 21st of May at the Theatre in Castellón. The big date was the awards organised by radio station “Onda Cero”. These awards show the most human and committed side of the society of Castellón. Furthermore, this yearly event recognises people, groups and institutions whose work has an important impact in the progress, development and quality of life of the society of Castellón.
Once again, Salquisa collaborates with “Onda Cero” giving the Environment Award this year to the Council of Castellón for their service of bicycles lending, biciCAS.
Zoom inSalquisa collaborates once again with International Red Cross with funds to help injured people in the earthquake occurred in the southeast of China. To this effects, SALQUISA confirms and expands bonds already established with the European entity and channels through Red Cross most of their social contributions.
